I was super excited to pick up a bag of brochures for Wirral Open Studios yesterday and also to meet some of the other artists and lovely organisers. Now I have a couple of months to distribute these and get ready for WOP 2025. I feel extra lucky to be showing my work at the home of one of my favourite artists, @kimharleygriffiths 🙌

I found this stone at the foot of the great pyramid in Egypt and it felt so much like a gift. It looks a little like the dolls I’ve been making recently as well. ✨ I was honoured to be invited to exhibit my work in the foyer of Capstone Theatre, Liverpool’s international arts venue, as part of this year’s Angel Field Festival.✨ The festival runs from March 20th - 27th, bringing together world-class musicians, performers, and artists from across the globe. My work will be on display until the end of the month. I’m thrilled to share that my work will be featured at the Angel Field Festival at Capstone Theatre, Hope University Creative Campus, later this month. I’m busy preparing for the installation this Thursday, making sure everything is just right. Today, an exciting package arrived - posters showing work in progress that will accompany the exhibition. A few weeks ago, a very dear friend’s wonderful daughter came of age, and I had the honor of making her this little doll to celebrate the milestone. Inside, she carries a message for the child, along with marigold for confidence, lemon balm for success, and eucalyptus for protection and good health. I also placed a moonstone for a healthy cycle and rose quartz over her heart for love and harmony in her relationships. Together with her mother and sisters, we marked the occasion with a beautiful ceremony - flower crowns, blessings, and fire. It was a magical evening. ✨🌿🔥 #comingofage #ceremony #flotsam_fables
